After School Club
Out of school care provides a place where children, usually aged between 4 and 11 years, can play together in a safe, fun environment. Most clubs cater for children aged up to 11 years in primary school but some clubs also cater for younger or older children. Clubs can be open before school in the mornings and after school in the afternoons. Out of school clubs and holiday schemes provide a range of activities including sports, arts and creative activities. Generally, working in an out of school provision is usually part-time during term-time and full-time during the school holidays.
