St Nicholas School

St Nicholas School is a special school in Croydon that provides education for children aged 4 to 11 with moderate learning difficulties (MLD) and other additional needs, including autism, speech and language needs, and social communication difficulties.

Who is St Nicholas for?

St Nicholas School supports children and young people who:

  • Are aged between 4 and 11 years old.
  • Have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
  • Have moderate learning difficulties (MLD) or additional needs.
  • May also have autism, language and communication needs, or sensory challenges.

Each child’s learning plan is tailored to their individual strengths, needs, and interests.

How do I apply?

All placements at St Nicholas School are managed by Croydon Council’s SEND Team through the EHCP consultation process.

 To apply:

  • Your child must have an EHCP.
  • The SEND team will consult with St Nicholas School as part of the school placement process.
