Arts and Culture

Croydon is proud to be the London Borough of Culture, and we’re excited to share our music, arts, and culture with everyone.

Our borough has a rich history of creativity - from the music that started here, like dubstep and grime, to the amazing art and performances happening today. We want everyone to feel part of Croydon’s creative story.

There are lots of events, performances, and projects for young people, parents, and carers to enjoy and get involved in. Whether you love music, art, dance, or theatre, there’s something for everyone. Our cultural services are here to make sure that young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) can take part too, with support available to help everyone join in and have fun.

Come and explore what Croydon has to offer - creativity is for everyone!

Croydon Music and Arts

Croydon Music and Arts (CMA) is a service within Croydon Council. We work to ensure children and young people, aged 5 to 18, in the borough have access to creative opportunities.

We work as part of a network of local partners that include Croydon’s schools, cultural organisations and services for children and young people. CMA is a Lead Delivery Partner for Southwest London Music (SWLM), the Hub Lead Organisation for delivering the National Plan for Music Education in SW London.
