This additional stream of funding is designed to enrich and enhance the early learning experiences of those eligible children and in so doing close any developmental gaps.
Practitioners use their knowledge of the children to identify the most effective use of funding which can be spent on lots of different things including extra resources, exciting experiences, preparing for school and additional enhanced support if that would benefit the child’s learning.
