Irrespective of which type of childcare provision you are considering, you will have to follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) which sets the standards that all early years providers must meet to ensure that children learn and develop well and are kept healthy and safe. The EYFS Framework explains how and what children will be learning to support their healthy development. They will be learning skills, acquiring new knowledge across the 7 areas of learning and development. You must also ensure you register your business and adhere to all the regulations and legislations around operating a business in the UK.
